What DFW drivers ask before booking window tint at our Keller garage.
Ask a questionWhat's the legal window tint limit in Texas?
Texas law allows a minimum of 25% VLT on the driver and front passenger windows, with no restriction on rear and side-rear glass. Windshield tinting is limited to a strip above the AS-1 line. We tint to the legal limit and walk every client through their options at intake.
What's the difference between dyed, carbon, and ceramic tint?
Dyed films deliver appearance, privacy, and 99% UV blockage. Nano-carbon adds measurable heat rejection and color stability. Ceramic is the flagship — multi-layer film with the highest infrared rejection we install, no metal content, and the longest service life.
Will tint interfere with my GPS, cellular, or radar signals?
Our ceramic and carbon films contain no metallic content, so they do not interfere with GPS, cellular, Bluetooth, satellite radio, or factory radar systems. We confirm film selection against your specific vehicle's tech package at intake.
How long does a tint install take?
A typical full-vehicle tint runs three to four hours. Larger SUVs and vehicles with panoramic roofs run longer. Most clients drop off in the morning and pick up the same afternoon. We'll confirm the timeline when you book.
When can I roll my windows down after install?
We recommend leaving the windows up for at least 72 hours so the film fully cures to the glass. In Texas summers it often cures faster, but the 72-hour window is the safe baseline. Every client leaves with a written aftercare card.
